Valley Medical Center, in Renton, Washington, is licensed for 303 beds, is the state’s first public district hospital and is the largest nonprofit healthcare provider between Seattle and Tacoma. We serve over 400,000 residents as a regional center operating a network of 12 community clinics throughout King County.
Valley Medical Center offers medical, surgical, and 24-hour emergency care as a Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU. In additional, VMC is a regional resource with recognized Centers of Excellence in Birth, Sleep, Joint and Stroke care. VMC provides specialized treatment in cardiology, oncology, high-risk obstetrics, orthopedics, neonatal, cancer, and neurology.
Our new Emergency Services Tower, to open in early 2010 will have an additional 51 beds for the ER, plus rooms for Critical Care, Level III Trauma Center, Rapid Care Treatment, and two floors of patient parking. Join us as we grow!
